Therapy for Therapists

In my years of providing counseling and psychotherapy for clients, particularly while I was in training and just getting started, I often wondered how other psychotherapists sought their own personal support.  Counselors aren’t perfect — alas, we are human beings, too!  Additionally, as a clinical supervisor and teacher in a counselor education program, I’ve made my fair share of personal counseling referrals to students and counselors-in-training.  Unfortunately, I know how sometimes financially this can be a burden to graduate students and post-graduate LPC-Interns.

Therefore, I provide sliding scale fees for therapists who want to seek their own personal therapy.  My sliding scale is negotiable, as long as you can provide evidence that you are a student in a counseling graduate program, a post-graduate LPC-Intern, or an LPC.

Common issues that clients who seek my Therapy for Therapists services include:

  • Burnout
  • Vicarious traumatization
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Identity development
  • Personal growth
  • Countertransference
  • Workplace issues and stress

It brings me a lot of satisfaction to be a financially affordable place at which wounded healers may seek support and growth.  Please contact me if you have any questions about the kind of work I do with therapists.
